How do QR codes work?
A QR code is like a digital shortcut. When a finder scans the code on your tag with their smartphone camera, it opens a secure webpage specific to your item in seconds. From there, they can see the details you've shared or send you a message to reunite you with your stuff.
Does QR-Rescue insure lost items?
No. QR-Rescue is a lost-and-found solution that helps finders contact you directly. We do not provide insurance coverage for lost or stolen items.
How do I use the QR code?
It's simple! Since you design your tags online, they arrive already linked to your account. You just peel and stick them onto your valuables. You can update the contact settings for any tag at any time through your dashboard.
What if someone scans it?
If someone finds your item and scans the tag, they will be taken to a secure contact page. From there, they can send you a message with the item's location and their optional contact details. You'll receive a notification as soon as they reach out, so you can arrange to get your item back.
Can I update my details?
Yes. You can update the contact information displayed when your tag is scanned at any time via your dashboard. The QR code on your tag remains the same, so there is no need to replace it.
